Each athlete is required to be fully registered to participate in club competition and LAQ events. When fees are paid in full, each child will receive:
1. A registration number. This is to be sewn on the front of the Centre Uniform.
2. An age patch, to be sown onto the left sleeve of the Centre Uniform.
3. A Little Athletics Achievements Handbook.
4. A McDonald’s achievement award card for your own records.
5. Centre Handbook – one per family, this contains valuable information about the running of the club.
6. An LAQ Yearbook & Parent handbook—one per family.
Registration fees include membership to QLAA, insurance and membership to the Club.
Because of our insurance requirements, all fees, must be paid in full before a child is able to compete.
Parent Levy
The Little Athletics motto of "Family, Fun, Fitness" highlights that it is a community activity involving the whole family on a weekly basis.
We are not a child minding facility and do not expect your children to be dropped off for other parents to look after. We need your participation in the set up and running of the events.
We generally need a minimum of 3 parents to assist in the running of each event. You may be asked to do things such as timekeeping, measuring distances, recording, marshalling the children or even just raking the long jump pit. These are all vital roles to ensure that the events run in an efficient manner.
In order to receive a refund of the parent levy, you must have at least 60% participation at centre competition days as well as assisting at our annual swap meet in November.
